Brotherhood and Alumni

A group of PIKEs at their Annual Golf Tournament

Pi Kappa Alpha’s identity is based upon striving to be the “finest fraternal organization on the hill,” and that also means having the strongest brotherhood. The Zeta Theta Chapter of PIKE was the first nationally chartered fraternity at the school, established in 1965 when it was still Southwest Texas University, giving us the largest alumni base of any chapter on campus.

We have strong diversity in our brotherhood, not just in demographics but in walks of life and personalities as well. We pride ourselves on the fact that regardless of this diversity, each and every one of us knows that we can count on each other for help, whether that be in school, finding jobs and paying for dues, mental health, or something else. In the end, we are all a family, and we are all extremely familiar with one another.

We do not want financial issues to be the reason someone cannot be a part of our organization, so in addition to helping those struggling to find a job, we also offer various payment plans, tasks to reduce dues, and have even come together to pay for our brothers to be able to stay with us. In addition, we are the only fraternity on campus with a scholarship endowment fund, which is given to the 2 brothers with the highest GPAs in the chapter.
